Parish Taceaux in the 700 block of Texas Street has decided a little change is a good thing. The popular eatery has just unveiled a new menu that tries to retain the favorites of the old (avocado fries, Nashville Hot and Korean BBQ taceauxs) with new options like The Wrap, a grilled avocado, street corn slaw, pumpkin seed salsa, and queso fresco wrapped in butter lettuce, and The Jam, smoky chicken, queso blanco, Bergeron’s andouille sausage, hatch chiles, and caramelized onions.
Early reviews have been all thumb’s up, so time to beat a path to PT’s door. Remember, too, that the cafe now has outdoor seating available, all the better to wile away an afternoon sampling their expansive and creative new drink menu! Parish Taceaux is co-located with Artspace, 708 Texas Street, and the hours are: Monday, 11 am- 3 pm, Tues.-Thurs., 11 am- 7 pm, and Fri./Sat. 11 am- 8 pm.
